frequently asked questions

Availability & Booking

01

How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?

Most couples book their photographer 12–18 months before their wedding date, especially for popular seasons and weekend dates. If your wedding is sooner, no problem! I’d still love to hear from you. Reach out and I’ll let you know what availability looks like.

02

How do we know if our date is available?

The best way is to fill out my inquiry form with your wedding date, location, and a few details about your celebration. I’ll respond with availability and next steps. Once we decide we’re a good fit, I’ll send over your custom proposal and contract. Your date is officially reserved once the signed agreement and retainer are completed!

Photography & Experience

03

How would you describe your photography style?

My approach combines natural, candid emotional storytelling. I focus on capturing genuine moments while they happen, providing gentle direction when needed so your images are authentic and fun! Years from now, you want to remember the way the photos you got made you feel. That's my priority!

04

Will we have to pose the entire day?

Not at all. Your wedding day should feel like a celebration, not a photoshoot!
I’ll guide you during portraits while allowing space for real moments, laughter, and connection to unfold naturally.

05

Do you help with planning the photography timeline?

Definitely! I help couples think through their timeline so we have enough time for meaningful portraits, important moments, and a relaxed experience.
*Included for weddings 8 hours or more*

06

Do you photograph details?

Yes! I love documenting the details that make your wedding uniquely yours. Examples include:
* Invitations
* Rings
* Florals
* Personal details
* Family heirlooms
* Venue elements

Locations & Travel

07

Where do you photograph weddings?

I am based in Bethel, Maine, and photograph weddings throughout Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and beyond. I love traveling for meaningful celebrations and destination weddings!

08

Will there be a travel fee?

Weddings within a two-hour radius of Bethel, Maine, do not incur travel fees. Celebrations outside of that radius will be charged a mileage fee, and a potential for accomodations depending on total distance.

Galleries & Delivery

09

How many images will we receive?

Every wedding is unique, but most couples receive anywhere from 450-650 fully edited images.
I carefully curate your gallery so every image contributes to the story of your day.

10

When will we receive our photos?

Your final gallery will be delivered within 3-4 weeks after your wedding. Busier times in the season (spring and fall) may result in a later delivery. I do offer a "rush delivery" option that you will see as an add-on when I send your proposal if you'd like your photos sooner.

11

Do you offer albums and prints?

Yes. I believe your wedding photographs deserve to exist beyond a screen. Albums and printed artwork are available for couples who want tangible heirlooms. Products are available for pre-purchase before booking, and post purchase via your digital gallery.
